Meet Hayley

Hayley Moriarity RMT

Hayley grew up in Victoria and attended West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT). She graduated from the program in 2015.

Before starting her own company, Hayley provided patient care at a multidisciplinary clinic for over five years. At this clinic, she built her practice to accommodate and reinforce other forms of healthcare into her treatment plans.

With that in mind, Hayley decided to provide Mobile Massage Therapy as the next step of her practice: making individual care accessible to everyone, from those bed or wheelchair-bound to stay-at-home parents working from home due to the pandemic.

Hayley believes that deciding between your health and what you can access shouldn’t be a decision you need to make. This is why Hayley frames her approach to treatment around working with her patients’ wants, needs, and abilities to achieve positive results: advocating for her patients where needed to help achieve their goals and bringing in other healthcare providers as needed.

After over a year of providing mobile massage therapy to the greater Victoria region, Hayley decided to change her focus to the Kootenay region. She is beginning her journey by having an in-home clinic located in Castlegar, British Columbia.

Hayley has also worked as a clinic supervisor and teaching assistant at WCCMT. In the student clinic, she provided students with feedback to ensure safe and effective treatments for those with an array of healthcare needs. She also challenged the students to use their clinical reasoning and differential diagnoses to reinforce and encourage the treatment plans they have decided on.

When Hayley isn’t working at the college or in her practice, she can be found hiking and camping the trails, and loving her sweet pup, Joey.
